This workshop will revisit previous learning in maths and English, using fun activities and investigations, giving your child the opportunity to practise skills they have been taught and keep new knowledge fresh in their minds.

Additionally, there will be plenty of time for arts and crafts and baking to develop their creativity; it is the holidays after all!

Weather permitting, there is a garden for fresh air and some outside games.

Following on from the success of the summer workshops, I am excited to announce my new autumn workshop this half-term.

Every weekday from 9-12, I will be providing fun activities to revise the learning that your child has had at school, as well as arts, crafts and baking, all with an autumnal theme.

Looking for more than just a summer camp? This holiday, give your child the opportunity to learn, explore, and thrive in an environment designed to inspire. Our two-week programme blends daily English and maths lessons tailored to each child’s level with a vibrant mix of creative and active experience - from arts and crafts to science experiments, outdoor games, baking, and more!

Who’s it for?

• Children currently in Years 1 to 6
• Run by Sarah Munson and Melissa Oshungbure—experienced, qualified teachers, full-time tutors, and mums ourselves!
• Up to 30 children with a strong team of additional staff who are all experienced in working with children.

If you think your child could do with some extra lessons over the holidays but don't want to commit to term-time tutoring, then my Easter workshops could be just what you need.
Sometimes all it takes is a few booster sessions to revisit a topic they are finding difficult. That extra time and focus in a one-to-one setting can provide the opportunity for your child to fully grasp a new concept and to ask questions without the embarrassment they may feel in a classroom.
Having worked with children from all stages and abilities in primary school, I will tailor each lesson to your child's individual needs whether that be in maths or English. 
With so many upcoming assessments in the summer term for Year 1, Year 4 and Year 6, now is a good time to start some dedicated tutoring. Avoid the summer slide and be ready for September!
It is not surprising, but after a six week break, many children forget some of the concepts they were taught in maths and especially get out of the practice of reading and writing with so many other distractions throughout the summer holidays.
During two weeks of the summer holidays, I will be providing 1:1 sessions to assess primary school-aged children to identify any gaps in their learning. From this analysis, I can then offer tailored tuition to bridge those gaps or just to revise any areas of the curriculum before your child starts a new academic year in September.

Sessions cost £45 per hour. (If you are able to get a couple of children together, I can offer a group rate at £30 per hour.)

Week commencing 5th - 9th and 19th - 23rd August:

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 1:30 - 4:30pm

Every year, across the country and around the world, World Book Day is celebrated in schools with many activities and initiatives around reading. No doubt, you are already planning a costume to put together or shopping for one for your child to dress up as a character from a book. But this isn't the only thing that World Book Day is about. 
There is much research which shows that the children who read regularly and are read to have much better outcomes, in not only English but maths and the wider curriculum too, as they progress through SATs, GCSEs and A Levels.

Here are 6 elements you can can use to support your child with developing a love of reading:

• Making reading FUN!
